“Prarambh 2026” Marks a Promising Beginning: Index Nursing College Inspires Future Nurses with Values, Skills, and Service

Indore, India. Index Nursing College, Malwanchal University, organized the induction program “Prarambh 2026” for newly admitted B.Sc. Nursing students with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to warmly welcome the students and introduce them to the responsibilities, values, and professional ethics of the nursing field, along with the academic environment of the institution. Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Rahul Bhargava emphasized that success in life depends on choosing the right direction, making informed decisions, and staying committed to one’s goals. He highlighted that this induction marks not just the beginning of academic learning but the start of a significant life journey where continuous growth and self-improvement are essential.

Focus on Skills, Opportunities, and Discipline

Highlighting the evolving scope of nursing, Rahul Bhargava stated that while many students are entering the field, those who focus on developing practical skills alongside academic knowledge will stand out. He encouraged students to begin skill development from day one to build a strong and successful career. He also noted that nursing is no longer limited to hospitals, as opportunities are expanding into IT organizations, educational institutions, universities, and corporate sectors. Special Guest Karan Singh Shaktawat, Station House Officer of Khudel, addressed the serious issue of ragging and explained its legal and social consequences. He urged students to strictly avoid such activities and report any incidents immediately to the authorities.

On this occasion, Dr. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal of Index Nursing College, stated that nursing is not merely a profession but a symbol of service, compassion, and dedication. She encouraged students to pursue their studies with honesty and strong human values to become skilled and empathetic professionals. Director Deepak Mishra provided insights into the institution’s facilities, academic structure, and discipline. The program was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Chairman of Mayank Welfare Foundation, Suresh Singh Bhadoria, and Vice Chairman, Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Deputy Sarpanch Anil Barnasiya, Additional Director Dr. R.C. Yadav, Director of Homeopathy College Dr. Ritesh Vishwakarma, IRC Director Dr. Tapesh Dubey, CAO of Index medical College Dheeraj Jaiswal, along with deans and heads of departments. During the session, Dr. Sudarshana Prince (Vice Principal, Academic) shared insights on the curriculum and academic system. Dr. Anu Kumar ( Professor & Head) introduced Malwanchal University and Index Institutions. Dr. Reena Thakur (Vice Principal, Administration) explained the code of conduct, while Dr. Bidayani Devi (Professor) elaborated on Indian Nursing Council guidelines and examination patterns. Nainika Joseph raised awareness on anti-ragging measures. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Manisha Bhagwat.
