<p>After an incredible effort against Sri Lanka in the continental mega-sporting event’s final, the Indian women’s cricket team won a historic gold in the current Asian Games in Hangzhou (China).</p>

<p>The roster also included Anjali Sharvani, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Devika Vaidya, and Deepti Sharma; however, Anjali withdrew from the team for the Asian Games owing to a minor injury. The other players indicated above were crucial members of the team, particularly Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Deepti Sharma, who were instrumental in India’s march to the Asian Games final in women’s cricket.</p>
<p>The Indian Women’s Cricket team won convincingly over Malaysia in the quarterfinals to kick off their campaign at the Hangzhou Asian Games. They won easily over Bangladesh in the ensuing semifinal game to get to the championship game against Sri Lanka.</p>
<p>In the championship game, the Indian side batted first and amassed 116 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. The Indians then easily held the Sri Lankans to 97 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs.</p>
<p>Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma shared her happiness over the successful campaign at the Hangzhou Asian Games after winning the Gold Medal in the competition.</p>
<p>It feels amazing, and our staff is quite appreciative of this. This is our first gld medal, and we’re having a great time. We want to keep winning as a team and go on in the same manner. We hope that our victory would encourage young people to play cricket since the Asian Games are a significant stepping stone, Deepti remarked.</p>
<p>Rajeshwari Gayakwad, a comrade who also represents India and the UP Warriorz, said, “Winning the Gold medal at the Asian Games is a moment that will always be extremely precious to all of us. This is the end consequence of our laborious efforts, and we are certain that our performance in the future will reflect our victory. And the more we compete, whether it’s for India or the WPL’s UP Warriorz, or any other team, the better it will be for us and the sport.</p>
